A woodland experience is a theatrical adventure photoshoot for children like no other! It’s perfect for boys or girls, aged from as young as 8 months up to 16 years.

Visit us for a woodland photography portrait session, and your child will get to experience the magic of a woodland-themed photoshoot. We have truly immersive “walk-in” set that make it seem as though your child is deep in the forest on an epic adventure!
As with all our photoshoots, we take great pride in ensuring that we create an experience that is far more than just a photo backdrop. There are real trees, leaves, rocks and other details that allow your child to role-play and truly experience the magic of being in their very own fantasy forest.
Special woodland-themed props and costumes to enhance their experience
With props and costumes to make the woodland photography experience all the more realistic, your child can enjoy shooting fire-lit arrows through the forest with their trusty bows, and perhaps even fight through the undergrowth with their flaming swords!
Younger children can sit beside our very own lake, deep within the forest. Perhaps they may discover a hidden treasure chest full of glowing coins and gems! What could be more exciting than that?
Wearing items from our extensive woodland-themed studio wardrobe, your child can also wander confidently through the forest with the help of a glistening lamp lighting the way.
With the aid of digital magic, after the photo shoot, we add special elements such as butterflies, other wildlife and other special effects to enhance the photos even further.

Your child’s woodland photoshoot includes…
A theatrical woodland photoshoot experience lasts 1 hour. All woodland-themed costumes and props are included.
After the woodland photography shoot, we’ll agree on a date for you to return to our Derby studio to view the portraits. You’ll get to enjoy a private cinematic viewing of the final images and you’ll then make your photo selections and purchases.
Included in the package is a photo mug and 2 x keyrings (same image). At the viewing appointment, you will choose the image to feature on those as well as any additional photo products that you would like to purchase.

You can even make your photoshoot a family affair…simply let us know at the time of booking if you want to have a woodland family photoshoot. Up to three children (siblings only) can take part.
Please contact the studio before booking if your group includes children who are not siblings – we can still offer this for you, subject to prior arrangement.
